Q. Is "Spy Matrix GPS" map and report information real-time?

A. It's near real-time. The in-vehicle "Spy Matrix GPS" unit transmits GPS position data to the "Spy Matrix GPS" servers, which in turn updates your "Spy Matrix GPS" web pages. Updates are transmitted at standard intervals. This provides timely location updates, while avoiding the data-overload problems that come with continuous position updates. The "Spy Matrix GPS" web site maps display asset position as updates are received. You control settings for how often the maps update. So depending on how frequently maps update - also depending on when vehicle reports were last received - location data can be virtually real-time!

Upon receipt of your Spy Matrix GPS, your device will be automatically ACTIVATED, once you pay the wireless subscription of $ 99/year

(this entitles user to 1 Year of Unlimited Web Online Access which includes a live programmed SIM card, with activation and 1 year of unlimited Web Online access.)

This entitles user to activation and one year of wireless subscription and web access. The "Spy Matrix GPS" sends position reports and status messages and can be managed remotely. Each communication constitutes a transaction. The user pays per transaction and the frequency of position reports (transactions) is determined by the user. Each time a position is reported constitutes a transaction.

The remaining cost is variable and is related to the use of the "Spy Matrix GPS". The "Spy Matrix GPS" sends position reports, status reports and can be managed remotely. Each communication constitutes a transaction. The client pays per transaction and the frequency of position reports (transactions) is determined by the client. Transactions are paid for through monthly bundle plans, the bundles can be bought with recurring credit card payments or with individual credit card payments per bundle. the available bundles are:

Shipping price of $25.00 includes standard ground shipping per unit. Next Day shipping services are available and costs $50 per unit. SIM card, handling. Q. How is the "Spy Matrix GPS" powered?

A. All you need is 4 AA batteries which will power the unit for 90 days. An optional vehicle power adaptor is available which will allow you to hard wire the unit to the vehicles battery. (see accessories)

Q. What type of GPS system is it and how does it work?

A. It is cellular (GSM) based. The "Spy Matrix GPS" I/O Processors (IOPs) collect incoming vehicle data from the wireless communication media (e.g. Radio, Cellular, CDPD, Satellite) and present it onto the Server network in a standard format (independent of the wireless medium over which it was originally transmitted). The IOPs act as information sources to the network.

The "Spy Matrix GPS" AVL Server accepts all incoming vehicle reports and stores them on its local disk, keeping each vehicle's reports organized in a date-structured hierarchy of disk folders. Thus, it has the power to go "back in time" and instantaneously access vehicle data from days, months, and even years past, at the simple request of a client customer viewer.

All functions are easily configured to your particular company's needs and can also be uniquely tailored to each client's individual "Spy Matrix GPS" serial number.

Q. How do I track my vehicle?

A. You will log into a secure website with a login id and password. All you need is an internet connection and a web browser.

Q. What if I only log in every two weeks, will my data still be available?

A. Yes, the "Spy Matrix GPS" will store your data.
