All other real time vehicle tracking systems we have seen in the past are bulky and complicated. Now, there are no tedious cables, antennas, software or cell phones to activate.

No more complicated wiring or GPS antenna mounting. Due to new state-of-the-art "high sensitivity antenna" technology, the very small "Spy Matrix GPS" tracker is completely self contained, including 4 standard "AA" batteries that power the unit for a full 3 months. Of course, if you prefer a permanent installation, connection assembly with battery back up is also available.

The "Spy Matrix GPS" is general purpose asset tracking device that adds security and tracking capability to small, portable equipment such as generators, compressors, pumps, backhoes, Bobcats, etc.

In addition to equipment and vehicles, the device can provide security for a range of construction assets such as supply pallets, wire spools, and similar high value assets.

The device can be programmed to send a status report at whatever frequency the user desires, and has a built-in motion detector to automatically send out position reports if unauthorized movement is detected.

About GPS:

• The GPS receiver knows exactly where every single Satellite is located (perpendicular to Earth) based on the almanac.

• The satellites send time stamps, their ID and the almanac to earth continuously.

• Any place on Earth has visibility of at least 6 satellites at any time.

• A GPS receiver can calculate its position on Earth based on receiving a signal from 3 or more satellites. This mathematical calculation will get more accurate the more satellite signals are received.

How you track your "Spy Matrix GPS"

• "Spy Matrix GPS" data that you view will include the time, the nearest address of the vehicle and the exact location of the vehicle's last stop on a easy to view map. Tracking information will automatically update once every 15 minutes during motion of the vehicle.

• If you need data at slower or faster intervals, the "Spy Matrix GPS" can be programmed at a multitude of update frequencies via the online server.

• A group of "Spy Matrix GPS" may be entered into a single account for tracking of all vehicles in a household. This means only one sign-in name and one account balance to keep track of.

Additional Information:

• The "Spy Matrix GPS" only determines a position when in motion or when motion is detected. If no motion is detected the device is in sleep mode to conserve the batteries.
• After a position report is sent the "Spy Matrix GPS" will wait for a variable, user determined, number of minutes before it will generate a new report while in motion or to send an end of motion report. The user determines based on the operational needs how often position reports are generated.
• If the "Spy Matrix GPS" does not sense motion for 24 hours it will automatically send a brief report (no position included) to let the home base know the device is still alive and what the battery status is.
• The "Spy Matrix GPS" is designed to run on batteries and to get the longest use out of them, therefore the device spends most of its time waiting for motion while not consuming power. There is an accessory available that allows the unit to be hooked up to a vehicle battery. The accessory allows additional capabilities while it diminishes the capability to move the unit to other assets.

Once activated, "Spy Matrix GPS" can be installed anywhere in the vehicle, including trunk, under seat, in glove box, or any other convenient location.
